Conceptually Designed Personal Logos

First Conceptually Designed Logo, A top hat combined with the imagery of The Devil.

When it came to designing my first conceptual logo, I wanted to combine my love for top hats with the image of a person/devil. This would give off that feeling of class and importance while also showing off the danger of a devil and general horror. I want this logo to get across my love for fancy stuff, along with the side of me that’s more like a sneak, symbolized by the devil.

I did this by first designing the top hat itself, keeping the same idea of keeping to the same black and white colouring, as to not complicate it and keep the style. Of course, I then I added the horns o then get across the idea of a devil hat.

Lastly, I added an idea to give the idea on looking down on people, which is most linked with high class/high society things. This also helps getting across the idea of a figure, as now the lower pair of horns also now look like a person, which combined with the top horns which helps get across the figure of the devil.

Second conceptually designed logo, an eye combined with the colour wheel and the imagery of a rising sun.

When first coming up with this second logo, I wanted to use an eye again, as its one of the most recognisable parts of the human body. According to the company Acove, a company all about contact lenses, “The eye is a powerful symbol in cultures all over the world. It has shaped many cultures and beliefs over thousands of years.”

I then combined it with the imagery of the ‘rising sun’, a very recognisable symbol in history. I then combined it with the colour wheel, along with black and white eyelashes. The colour wheel is supposed to represent the many sides of me, along with anyone really. And the black and white represents my love for order. However, it also represents how everyone has two sides to them, including me.
